Fused Glass Workshop - 9:30am

We welcome back local stained glass artist, Pat Deere to create glass fused crosses. In this class you will create two crosses; one you will keep, and the other will be left with Pat for her to permanently adhere to her art installation, which will be entered into the ArtPrize competition, and on display in
September in Grand Rapids. Your crosses can be as detailed or as simple as you’d like, about 6-10”. You will also learn about glass art: how a kiln is
prepared for fusing, what temperature is required for the desired effects you are looking for, and how glass color changes. Choose the morning time or afternoon time upon registration. Max 8 per class. You will need to wear safety goggles and close-toed shoes. If you have a pair of safety googles, please bring them.

Note:

You must wear close-toed shoes and safety goggles. If you have a pair, please bring them with you.
