Intro to Astronomy

Join us for a hands-on exploration of stargazing, providing a practical guide to understanding the night sky. Participants will learn about the different types of telescopes, as well as tips for identifying constellations and celestial objects. The presentation will also include a seasonal guide to what's visible in the night sky from Saline, helping participants plan their own stargazing experiences throughout the year. In addition, we will highlight some of the most exciting recent discoveries from large-scale observatories around the world, to spark curiosity and foster a deeper appreciation for the night sky. There will be time for Q&A at the end.
