Alizarin Crimson

Burnt Sienna

(A basic set of watercolor tubes is fine as a starter as well, if you'd prefer not to buy individual tubes. Winsor & Newton is a good starter brand.)

Other supplies:
Watercolor Paper (Strathmore makes a really good, inexpensive watercolor paper - look for the yellow cover, 9” x 12”)
Large palette with wells for paints and room for mixing (preferably with a cover)
Brushes: sizes 6, 8, & 12 round brush, 1/2" - 1" flat wash brush to start
Cup or bucket for water
Paper towels
Pencil
Kneaded Eraser
Small spray bottle
1” Painter’s tape

Optional:
Art Masking Fluid (and an old brush to use with it)
